Brian Otieno, a food historian and former restaurant critic, started Taste of Nairobi because visitors were eating at hotel buffets while the city's real cuisine thrived in street joints and family kitchens. His team of six guides leads walks that are half meal, half history lesson — colonial migration, Indian spice routes, and the new wave of Kenyan fusion chefs.
