James Kariuki left a career in Nairobi finance to build the lodge his family's land deserved. Mara Horizon partners with 800 Maasai landowners through the conservancy model — every guest night contributes a conservation levy directly to the community trust. The lodge employs 45 local staff and sources 70% of its produce from Narok County farmers.
